FORPSI makes the most sense for a small business website, blog, simple WordPress installation or a customer who wants domains, hosting and email under one provider. For a demanding WooCommerce store or agency workflow, I would consider a more advanced managed WordPress platform.

What is FORPSI?

FORPSI is a brand operated by INTERNET CZ, a company offering domain registration, Linux and Windows hosting, WordPress tools, email, virtual servers, cloud services, dedicated servers and SSL certificates. Its English-language website serves international customers, although billing for the core hosting offer is displayed in Czech koruna.

The company operates its own data centre in Ktiš in the Czech Republic and belongs to the Aruba group. FORPSI is not a narrowly focused managed WordPress host. It is a general infrastructure provider where customers can start with shared hosting and later move to VPS, cloud or dedicated hardware.

Pricing and plans

FORPSI is highly competitive on introductory price. However, the promotional rates apply to new orders and the first year only. Standard renewal pricing is substantially higher, especially on the Advanced and Professional plans, so the second-year cost is an essential part of the comparison.

All three Linux plans advertise unlimited web space, unlimited data transfer, unlimited basic 1 GB mailboxes and a DV SSL certificate when the eligibility conditions are met. “Unlimited” does not mean unlimited CPU resources or permission to use the account as a public file-storage service.

Easy is appropriate for one smaller website. Advanced supports up to three websites, while Professional supports up to ten. At a renewal price of CZK 450 excluding VAT per month, Professional starts competing with more specialised managed WordPress and cloud services.

FORPSI also offers packages combining a domain, hosting and email. Their final cost depends on the selected domain extension, so make sure you distinguish a hosting-only plan from a package that includes domain registration.

Features and specifications

FORPSI provides conventional Linux or Windows shared hosting with email, databases, SSL, an application installer, SSH and website management tools. The specifications are attractive for the price, but some practical services—particularly user-accessible backups and technician-assisted restoration—may require an additional fee.

WordPress and Softaculous

You can install WordPress on Linux hosting through Softaculous without manually uploading files or creating a database. The platform supports .htaccess rules, mod_rewrite, current PHP versions, MySQL and FORPSI’s HiSpeed Cache.

The installer makes deployment easier, but it does not turn FORPSI into a fully managed WordPress service. You remain responsible for WordPress core, theme and plugin updates, database optimisation, troubleshooting and resolving compatibility conflicts.

The plans should be sufficient for a blog, business brochure site or smaller catalogue. For a larger WooCommerce store, I would monitor database response, CPU limits, concurrent processes and cache performance rather than relying only on the advertised PHP memory allowance.

PHP, databases and SSH

Linux hosting supports current PHP versions, MySQL 8.0, InnoDB, phpMyAdmin, .user.ini configuration and SSH access. The listed PHP memory_limit is 1,024 MB, the maximum upload size is 128 MB and the maximum script execution time is 900 seconds.

Each database can use up to 5 GB. Easy includes one database, Advanced includes three and Professional includes ten. These are strong headline limits, but real shared-hosting performance also depends on CPU allocation, process limits and infrastructure load.

HiSpeed Cache and performance

FORPSI’s HiSpeed Cache can reduce response time and server load. Final website speed still depends on the theme, plugins, database, images and cache configuration. Unlimited data transfer is useful for media-heavy sites, but it does not remove CPU and concurrency restrictions.

For a business-critical website, I recommend testing real response time, availability, Core Web Vitals and WordPress dashboard speed after migration. These measurements are more meaningful than any single advertised hosting parameter.

SSL certificate

A DV SSL certificate can be free, but specific conditions apply. FORPSI must be the domain registrar, the domain and hosting must have the same owner, the domain must use FORPSI DNS servers and no other SSL service may be active on the hosting account.

Customers keeping their domain with another registrar or using external DNS may therefore not receive free SSL automatically. Check your setup before ordering and include the possible cost or administration of an alternative certificate in the comparison.

Backups and restoration

FORPSI creates operational backups for infrastructure recovery, while convenient user access to website backups is a separate paid option. Daily FTP backups with retained restore points are listed at CZK 5 excluding VAT per month on the Czech and English offer.

For WordPress, remember that files are only one part of a complete backup; the database is equally important. Before a critical update, create an independent external copy of both files and the database. Technician-assisted restoration may also incur additional labour charges.

Email

The hosting plans include unlimited basic mailboxes with 1 GB of storage each. A mailbox can be expanded to 10, 20 or 30 GB depending on the plan. POP3, IMAP, SMTP, webmail, anti-spam and antivirus features are available.

One gigabyte is relatively small for active business communication. FORPSI also sells more advanced business email with calendars, contacts, tasks, notes, storage and synchronisation, but it should be compared with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace before purchase.

Security

FORPSI lists Anti-DDoS protection, website isolation, two-factor authentication for account administration, monitoring and tools for detecting vulnerabilities or malicious code. The infrastructure is operated in its Czech data centre with continuous technical supervision.

Hosting-level security does not replace regular WordPress, theme and plugin updates. Use strong passwords, 2FA, a limited number of administrators and an independent external backup strategy.

FORPSI’s biggest advantage is its low first-year price combined with a broad service portfolio and solid technical limits. Customers can manage domains, hosting, email, WordPress, VPS, cloud and dedicated servers with one regional infrastructure provider.

My experience

For this review, I assessed the current offer, technical specifications, service conditions, documentation and public customer experiences. FORPSI comes across as an affordable, versatile provider with many capabilities, but it rewards customers who read the details and understand what is and is not included.

I appreciate the transparent display of both first-year and renewal pricing, the broad infrastructure portfolio and the strong limits on paper. My main concern is that the attractive headline price may suggest a complete managed package even though backup restoration and some SSL configurations require extra work or fees.

I would choose FORPSI for a simple website, a domain portfolio, email or a cost-sensitive project. For a business-critical WooCommerce store, I would prefer automatic database backups, one-click restoration, staging and support specialising in WordPress.

Public reviews of FORPSI are mixed and depend on the product and customer expectations.
