A normal web page is usually generated by a PHP script. In order for the page to be displayed, the script needs to be processed. For processing, we use the latest PHP-FPM technology, which, among other things, allows us to control the consumed performance of web pages.

Normal web hosting has a maximum of 4 PHP processes reserved for each PHP version. Each process can process one task at a time. But this does not mean that it can serve only 4 visitors. If your page is generated in, for example, 0.1 seconds, the server can process 40 requests in one second.

4: Ignoring directories and files – If your project contains files and directories that are not versioned and are common to all versions of the project, they must be set as shared. These are, for example, storage or .env files:

5: Compilation procedure – In the clear “Build & Deploy” process, set which commands should be run immediately after downloading the project from GIT. There are npm, Composer, Laravel, October CMS…

6: Build (compilation) – You can start the build or compilation of the project manually or with the next PUSH to the branch or tag you selected.
