The administrator is one of the user roles in WordPress. Of all user roles, an administrator has the most rights.
To manage the site, it is advisable to have one or only a few admins. For other users, select one of the other user roles.
Administrator – rights
Admin has access to manage his profile, can write, publish and manage his own posts . It can also publish and manage its own pages.
In addition, it can manage all other users’ posts , adjust page layout and settings, add and remove other users, manage comments, plugins, and perform all other administrative functions.
Super administrator
If you are creating a network consisting of several WordPress sites (multisite), you can create the role of super administrator. He will have the right to add and remove individual websites from the network. It will also have certain administrator rights on each of the sites.
