A sidebar is a column located on a page next to the main content.
Most often, it displays links to the latest posts, a link to the archive, comments, individual categories and similar information.
How to customize the sidebar
You can customize the content of the sidebar in the page administration under Appearance ›Widgets› Sidebar. When viewing a page in a mobile layout, the sidebar usually appears below the page content.
