The static front page displays constant content on the main page of your site. It will not display a list of recent posts.
This is a useful feature, for example, for companies that want to display information about the company’s mission and services on the homepage, and so on.
Static homepage – settings
To use static home page settings, go to Settings ›Read in the administration of your WordPress site .
Under Home Page Displays, click Static Page . In the page list, select which page to display as the main page . Be sure to click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
